Member Spotlight: Agavni Aghazaryan of FancyFace Designs – Sprinkling Holiday Magic, One Ornament at a Time
At Lusanet Collective, we are constantly inspired by the talented female founders we meet through our growing creative network, and Agavni Aghazaryan is no exception. We first had the pleasure of meeting Agavni at the Annual Holiday Bazaar hosted by St. Leon Cathedral in Burbank, where she was showcasing her beautifully handcrafted Christmas ornaments. It was love at first sight! Her whimsical and elegant creations instantly caught our eye — especially the red, black, and white pieces that reminded us of the charm and boldness of MacKenzie-Childs designs.
Naturally, it didn’t take long before we were dreaming up ways to collaborate. For the 2024 holiday season, we were thrilled to have Agavni take over Lusanet Collective’s holiday decor and window display. Her eye for detail and festive flair transformed our space into a magical winter wonderland that truly captured the spirit of the season. Our customers couldn't stop raving about her ornaments, many of which quickly sold out!
Agavni’s journey into the world of design is as inspiring as her creations. Growing up, she always found herself captivated by beauty—whether in the world of cosmetics or in carefully curated interior spaces. Although she spent many years working in the corporate world, she never stopped nurturing her creative passions. After graduating from cosmetology school, she pursued a successful 10-year career as a freelance makeup artist. During that time, her love for interior decorating blossomed—first for friends and family, then for herself.
But it was Christmas that truly lit a spark in her heart.
For Agavni, the holiday season has always been something to look forward to all year long. From planning color schemes and themes to crafting custom ornaments when she couldn’t find exactly what she envisioned, decorating for Christmas became more than a tradition—it became her calling. Over the past decade, she’s been designing Christmas trees and holiday decor for homes and businesses, always with the dream of one day opening her very own boutique.
In 2023, that dream became a reality when she launched FancyFace Designs, her online Christmas décor store. And in Winter 2024, she reached another milestone by premiering her first-ever Christmas boutique pop-up right here in Burbank, CA.
Working with Agavni this past season was nothing short of magical. Her creativity, warmth, and dedication to her craft made the collaboration seamless and so much fun. We’re excited to see how FancyFace Designs continues to grow and evolve—and we already can’t wait to see what she has in store for Winter 2025.
