Lusanet Collective Joins Bank of America and Seneca Women at the U.S. Women’s Soccer Match

On a thrilling day on April 5th at Sofi Stadium, where the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team faced off against Brazil, Lusanet Collective had the incredible honor of being recognized on a national stage. Selected by Bank of America in partnership with the Seneca Women group, our small business joined a dozen other female-owned companies to represent women’s entrepreneurship, innovation, and community impact at this iconic sporting event.

Supporting Women-Owned Businesses

As part of their ongoing commitment to empowering female entrepreneurs, Bank of America purchased 100 of our handcrafted glass chains to display and sell in the VIP lounge during the match. This gesture not only supported Lusanet Collective directly but also provided us with an invaluable platform to introduce our products to a new, influential audience. Alongside this, Bank of America created a special display area dedicated to showcasing the work of unique, women-owned businesses—a powerful reminder of how major institutions can play a role in uplifting small businesses.

Recognition on the Field

Our co-founder, Anet Abnous, proudly attended the match to represent Lusanet Collective. During halftime, she and fellow female business leaders were recognized on the field for their contributions to entrepreneurship and community growth. To stand in front of thousands of spectators, alongside women making a difference across industries, was both humbling and inspiring.

This moment highlighted not only our journey as a small business but also the shared challenges and triumphs of female entrepreneurs everywhere. Being acknowledged in such a public, celebratory way reinforced the value of our mission: to create a platform where artisans and small businesses—especially women-led ones—can thrive and connect with wider audiences.

Media Exposure and Advocacy

The recognition didn’t stop at Sofi Stadium. Anet was also interviewed by ABC Channel 7, where she discussed pressing issues that affect small businesses today. She spoke about tariffs, recent wildfires, and the ripple effects they have on local economies and entrepreneurs. By sharing these insights on such a visible platform, Anet brought attention to the real challenges small businesses face, while also spotlighting the resilience and creativity that keep us moving forward.

Networking and New Opportunities

Beyond the excitement on the field, the VIP lounge offered an incredible space for connection and collaboration. Anet had the opportunity to meet with influential leaders, professionals, and supporters of women-owned businesses. These interactions opened doors to future possibilities for collaboration, growth, and visibility for both Lusanet Collective and the network of artisans we represent.

A Grateful Moment

This opportunity was more than an event—it was a milestone. To be part of such a powerful celebration of women in sports, business, and community is an experience we will carry forward with gratitude and pride. We are deeply thankful to Bank of America, Seneca Women, and the U.S. Women’s National Team for creating space for small businesses like ours to shine.

Moments like this remind us why we started: to support, uplift, and share the stories of creative entrepreneurs who deserve recognition on every stage—from our local shop in Burbank to the field at Sofi Stadium.
